staff is using bad language. today i contacted epik.com via chat. staff name "Daniael" is used abusive language against me chat session such as "frustrated" After saying abusive language chat is disconnected by this staff. hope epik will take strict action.

Do not to buy domains there because you will lose your time, your money, your domains! They didn't transfer the domain. They only promise: tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. They took my money and won't refund it. They say every new day: "1-2 more days are needed, your question is already under consideration, our accounting team has already been warned". Don't trust them.
This Epik gang are trying to present themselves as escrow but they are their to keep and hold customer funds hostage. I had a transaction on the 31st of last month. And up to this moment, this people are yet to release my fund. Their is no explanation why my funds have remained in their cofers. Stay far away from Epik escrow. I'm still waiting for them to release my $8k since last month.
Around seven weeks ago, a company I'm invested in used Epik Holdings as an escrow agent for a transaction of several hundreds of thousands of dollars. As of October 14th this hasn't been paid. After reviewing the correspondence between Rob Monster (Founder) and Brian Royce (CEO) with the company there is very good reason to be very concerned. This is one of the most worrisome financial transactions I've seen handled by an escrow agent and also the consistent promises and assurance given that ended up not resulting in the money being transferred during this time. The buyer showed proof funds were transferred and Epik's site said it would be released, but Epik would not release the money. Once a review was posted, people reached out that they were in similar situations up to $250,000 as well so it looks like this could be a bigger issue. Rob did stay in communication throughout this time. On October 19th, almost 50 days after the transaction took place the money was released. It looks as if the others are beginning to be paid back as well.

Epik is probably the worst escrow company. I ignored the negative Trustpilot reviews and used them to sell my website. It was a nightmare since day one. I faced a lot of problems since they are biased and always listen to the buyer even if the buyer goes against the contract. Finally the deal was completed on 22nd September but Epik’s payments company Masterbucks is under maintenance even before that. Their customer support keeps saying they cannot provide a timeframe. My 25k USD are stuck now. Their team is absolutely doing nothing to solve the issue.
Tried to leave this review over at TrustPilot, however for some reason they removed it. This company is completely solid. I have used them to host many domains. Albeit some domain renewals are a bit more expensive (i.e. .NET .COM), if anyone is looking forTLD renewal prices these are clearly listed on their website (search: "epik renew gltd prices"). But if you are concerned with a website takedown, free speech issues, this is the best registrar bar none. If TLD renewal pricing is the issue I would recommend using TLD's with a lower renewal price i.e. .XYZ, but there are many others as well. Great company overall, highly responsive and their tools make it very easy to work with your domain portfolio.
