One strike and you're out... worst ever.

One strike and you're out... worst customers service ever. I have been trying to sort out my suspended acc for weeks. Their support email is hit and miss, you either never get a reply, receive a reply after a couple of weeks, or receive a vague (almost robot like) response. Their phone system can sometimes play a recorded message saying it is out of hours, even when it isn't, and when you do get through you'll receive false promises. I made an error with a purchase which led to my acc looking like it has cash laundering fraud (for a whole $200). I've tried to explain my situation multiple times over and over again but they just don't listen. Today I finally rec'd an email which said: "Thank you for contacting Afternic Support. We apologize for the delayed response. Your account has been permanently suspended for violation of the terms of use." After weeks of explaining the issue and why this happened I just get a 3 sentence response like this! Awful company and awful customer service. BE WARNED the only time you'll receive good service is when someone enquires about buying one of your domains, this is because they earn commission - if they're not earning commission it would seem they're not interested in your issues. As the Market leader (by number of customers, NOT by service or better UI etc) I would say their days are numbered if they don't start making improvements. Their complacency will be their undoing. There are much better companies emerging with ultra fast service and up to date user interfaces, free services, and great utilization of modern technology. Tick tock Afternic.
